Threadhopping: Sure! Unless the thread looks to be a serious one, in which you may want to send me and the other party a message first.
Fourthwalling: Can be pretty fun, but not in anything serious please!
Offensive subjects (elaborate): Even if he is the personification of a nation, I would prefer that anything involving very controversial/tragic politics/news/history to not be brought up with him. Anything worse that what the series specifically touches upon is probably not a good idea. Example of what I would not like to discuss: The IRA.

Hugging this character: Sure! He does mind his personal space, so he'll more than likely shove someone he doesn't know away. Even some people he knows and likes, he'll shove away, but there's a greater chance he'll just awkwardly accept it/hug back lightly.
Kissing this character: Okay! From someone he doesn't know, he'll also shove away- depending on who it is, they might get a punch for good measure. Might also apply to people he does like.
Flirting with this character: Go for it! Could either result in becoming flustered or snark. Or both. Only after a lot of effort and development with your character will he start reciprocating.
Beyond that: Any sort of sudden groping is a way to get him to either shout at or hit your character and to get him suspicious. It'll take a fair amount of development with your character before he starts doing it back.
Relationships?: It will require a lot of CR, but if at a good spot after some time, feel free to ask me. Be warned that he would be one of the harder options on a dating sim.

Fighting with this character: Do it! He is not an incompetent fighter, but it is not a focus of his as of late and he prefers being sneaky against people who probably outmatch him physically. Expect him to resort to crotch kicks and hair-pulling.
Injuring this character (include limits and severity): Er... in the series, he is inflicted comical injuries. In a more serious context, he can take more of a thrashing than an average human, but it would be best if be discussed any grievous injuries prior.
Killing this character: Unless it's something we talk about first, please do not.
Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character: If your muse has the ability, then sure!

Warnings: England has that kind of personality where he often doesn't say what he really feels. He may be mean and curt, and even to people he likes. Even if he actually doesn't like your muse, it doesn't mean that I don't like you or your muse!

Is there anything you need us to know about interacting with this character? : The character may be referred to as England, but he also stands in for the United Kingdom. This is not to say that the author of Hetalia thinks that the whole UK is England, as he also has siblings that stand in for the other countries. So he can be referred to as Britain as long as long as his siblings are not being mentioned/around. If it's at all too complicated, he'll accept being called Arthur Kirkland.

Also worth mentioning is that he may be a personification of a nation, but he still has many human characteristics that are not dependent on any statistics of the people he represents. Even if most English people don't care about one thing, it doesn't mean that that's the same case for him. Same with his stance on some political matters. He is heavily influenced, but the line between how much he is his own person versus how much of his personality is formed by his people is a fine one and open to interpretation.
